Winter, for many Canadians, means S’mores – the toasted, gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate over an open fire gets me every time!

Taught by an expert, here’s a great recipe for the perfect s’mores.

At your campsite, backyard, or wherever you have a fire pit, use a small grate on one side. Put a folded piece of heavy-duty tin foil on the grate, and placed the 2 graham crackers, one with 2 squares of chocolate on it, on the foil to warm and melt the chocolate.

Once you have expertly toasted the perfect marshmallow, sandwich it between the warmed graham crackers. By warming the graham crackers and chocolate, the marshmallow stays warm, the chocolate oozes and you have the perfect campfire treat.

Just try eating only one. I dare you!

What is the Australian Substitute for Graham Crackers? You can either use Arnotts Granita, Arnotts Shredded Wheatmeal or Plain Digestives.
