The second largest ski resort in Canada, Sun Peaks, is a unique destination that has plenty to offer. Spread across three mountains, Tod, Sundance and Morrisey, you will find a skiable 4270 acres (1728 hectares). Offering 360 degrees of skiing, each ski run funnels down the mountain trio to its iconic ski-in, ski-out village below.

Suggested in its name, this resort is jam-packed with sunshine. In fact, it is gifted more sun than any other Canadian ski resort, guaranteeing endless fun in the sun for the entire group. Throw in its hefty snowfall of light and dry ‘champagne powder’ and you get a ski resort with plenty of sunny skiing!

There are 138 trails and 17 gladed areas available to explore. It is a skier’s paradise with groomed corduroy, steeps, gladed tree runs, terrain parks, and access to guided backcountry skiing.

One of the best parts about Sun Peaks? When compared to other resorts, it isn’t as crowded. This means not only is there more space for visitors to roam, but there is also less of a line when it comes to waiting for lifts!

Home to many bucket-list winter activities, Sun Peaks has several thrilling activities on offer, which our team can arrange. Take in the views through a classic mode of transportation via a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride; try your hand at ice fishing; or get rink side at an ice hockey game.

The Sun Peaks Sports School has a well-run service that has a respected reputation within the ski industry. Staying at Sun Peaks provides you with one of the best opportunities for developing your skills on the snow. Plus, the resort itself has easy-to-learn terrain, making it the ideal classroom for all ability levels.

They offer a wide range of lessons, programs and camps for all levels, available as groups or one-on-one. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder, there is something for all levels! In addition to the established programs, there are also special programs that can be tailored for specific disciplines such as race training, Nordic skiing, freestyle and moguls.

As for the little ones, Sun Peaks hasn’t counted them out! The Sundance Kids Centre is a fun centre that delivers children between 3 and 5 with snow experiences and tuition. In short, this resort will help the whole family develop and enhance their snow skills!

For an authentic gastronomic experience, the Voyageur Bistro in the Village offers a Canadian experience with locally themed produce and ingredients to savour. Your meal is paired with award-winning local Okanagan wines, so you get the complete local experience.

If timed well, you may even plan your stay during the must-do culinary event of the year, the Sun Peaks Okanagan Winter Wine Festival. Generally held in March, this event allows you to participate in the snow activities with innovative wine and food events.
