Air Canada today announced they have implemented highly flexible and expanded booking options. You can make a one-time change without a fee for all new or existing bookings made through June 30, 2020 for original travel between March 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.

If you booked directly with Air Canada and you need to cancel for any reason, you can convert your ticket to an Air Canada Travel Voucher that has no expiry date or to Aeroplan Miles with an additional 65% bonus miles.

On board, using new biosecurity standards and enhancing preventive measures, the airline is elevating the steps they’re taking to keep you safe throughout your flight journey, putting safety first, always. Their new Safety First with Canada CleanCare+ is an industry-leading program committed to end-to-end health and safety protocols.

For the well-being of all customers and employees, Air Canada will temporarily adjust on-board service as a health and safety measure in response to COVID-19. The following will be gradually implemented:

Flights between Canada and Europe, Asia, Australia and South America

For all cabins, they will provide pre-packaged foods, while bar service will be limited to water only.

Pillows and blankets will no longer be available in Premium Economy and Economy Class; only blankets will be offered in Air Canada Signature Class.

For Air Canada Rouge, iPads will no longer be offered

Unfortunately Air Canada will not be able to accommodate any special meal requests
