The past 18 months of the pandemic have been a strange period for all in the global community. During that time the Ski Holidays and Tours team have been busy using the sudden downtime to focus on our technology and integrations.
As travel starts to resume, we want to provide a seamless customer-focused web experience. We are delighted to announce that our website Ski Holidays and Tours, now has an end-to-end consumer-facing online booking system with Canadian based company, Checkfront. This system is in part facilitated by the Australian Government Travel Support Grant Program together with British Columbia Provincial Government funding, through the support of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.

What’s new?
When you go to browse our ski packages, you’ll notice the layout has had a makeover. The Checkfront design has altered how our packages are displayed, providing more detail and a more straightforward outline of what each package includes.
Plus, you will identify a whole new treasure trove of functionalities that will make your experience with browsing ski holidays more manageable and convenient. This includes being able to:
- Check availability
- Book online
- Pay deposit online
You will also experience a more automated journey. For packages on this system, you will notice the interaction is much more flexible. Rather than enquiring about a package, you can now make an instant booking.
This brings the platform in line with the global OTA’s and aggregators in the online booking space, and makes the process far more seamless, secure and also more streamlined for you, the customer.
How to book your Canada ski vacation online
Booking a ski vacation has never been easier on our new Checkfront system.
All you need to do is find the right package for you. Once clicking ‘Book Now’, a pop-up window will appear that will have all the booking details you need to know, including the room quantity and the number of guests it serves.
Once the dates have been confirmed, you will find a detailed summary of your booking. You can also select other add-ons that enhance your time during your stay, such as equipment rental.
Simply following the prompts, you will need to fill in your details to secure your booking. You can even make payments, including the initial deposit to confirm your booking. It is that simple!
