CANADIAN SKI & SNOWBOARD VACATION EXPERTS

Planning on hitting the slopes of ski resorts in British Columbia? Make sure you are driving a vehicle with winter tires!

An annual requirement, winter tires are enforced to ensure safety and caution on British Columbia highways. While it isn’t mandated provincewide, it is mandatory for all vehicles driving on the majority of highways in B.C. from October 1 through to spring.

Winter tires must be in good condition with an M+S (mud and snow) or mountain/snowflake symbol and a tread depth of 3.5 millimetres minimum. Fines apply if found driving without winter tires.
